We carry textbook study
into daily maths practice.
Trinity Press makes printed textbooks and digital content together, and our learning app 111sm connects a student's handwritten working with reviewing mistakes.

Essence · Solid · Target
Essence for concepts, Solid for drills, Target for problem solving. One manuscript produces the printed book, the lesson slides and the app questions.
The nine textbooks and the seven books of 100 adapted mock-exam questions are due on 14 December. A core question-type book and two series of mock papers are candidates for the same day.

03 / How we make it
One manuscript for the book, the lesson and the app.
We never retype the same question for the book, the board and the app.
01
One manuscript
Questions and solutions are written once, in a structured source.
02
Print edition
Text and solutions typeset for two-colour print.
03
Lesson slides
16:9 slides for teaching, made alongside.
04
App question data
All 99 chapters of the nine books pass the app conversion check. The app screens are in development.
Print edition
Lesson slide
A textbook page and a lesson slide made from the same manuscript: question 01 of the chapter 1 review problems in Trinity Essence Common Maths 1. The slide is shown cropped.
What each mock-exam question goes through
It is solved two ways and the answers must match.
It is solved again separately from whoever wrote it, and the answers are compared.
It is compared with its source question and our own books for overlap.
An adapted question names its source in the first line of its solution.
The school-exam mock papers use no original school exam questions.
